    •     Air Tightness Consultants (Leamington)   Summary   Encraft are a well-established Building Physics and Engineering Consultancy working at the leading edge of the UK construction and energy sector. Much of our existing work is now in London, and we will also consider opening a London office with a suitable candidate.   Our award-winning Building Physics Practice is working on several major Passivhaus and EnerPHit schemes, including the largest EnerPHit project in the UK. We also provide airtightness consultancy, and are delivering these services to some of the most prestigious construction projects in the country.   We have developed an airtightness consultancy providing both accredited testing and consultancy to the construction industry. We are looking to expand this team and also offer additional commissioning and testing services for buildings.     Our culture values adaptability, enthusiasm and willingness to learn. We offer substantial opportunities for personal and professional development in a rapidly growing and changing market.   Purpose of job   The purpose of this role is to deliver specialist air tightness testing and guidance to clients looking to deliver high performing buildings. Generally our clients are looking to achieve standards of performance to pass Passivhauscertification, AECB or similar standards.   Reporting to   Head of Operations   Key Responsibilities   Conducting Air Tight ness tests for clients and reporting on these.   Evaluating and/or designing the elements of both new build and refurbishment projects working as part of multi-disciplinary project teams   Providing high quality technical advice to clients and client project teams and delivering this in a clear and coherent manner through reports and presentations.   Managing projects to time and budget   Liaising with colleagues and customers on technical issues   Communicating project progress   Maintaining accurate records and conforming to corporate quality systems and policies   Actively contributing to the continued growth and success of the business through ideas, supporting colleagues and maintaining an active interest in market and technical developments within your area of expertise   Person Profile   The person appointed will have the following key attributes:   ATTMA certified tester(or construction experience and willingness to become certified). On the job training will be provided as required from one of the leading air tightness testers.   Experience working on construction projects.   A track record of contributing to successful low carbon construction projects Able to communicate clearly in writing as well as verbally and through presentations Demonstrated fundamental understanding of energy use in buildings A good team worker Good time management skills and commercial awareness Ideally you will also be able to demonstrate:   Some experience of carrying out onsite inspections during construction in the interests of quality control   Encraft has grown consistently over the past decade, largely promoting from within, and we will particularly welcome applications from ambitious individuals who would like to develop their careers and grow with the company.   We work on projects nationwide, extensive travel is required as part of this role.
