    • The Team and The Role An opportunity has arisen for an Associate to join the Healthcare corporate finance team at KPMG. The successful candidate will work on the origination and execution of lead advisory mandates in the mid-market across a range of subsectors within the Healthcare space. Clients will include owner-managed businesses, corporates and private equity firms. This is an ideal opportunity for the candidate to join a growing and ambitious team as a sector specialist working on a broad range of UK and cross-border transactions including sell-side, buy-side and fund raising mandates. Responsibilities: * Taking responsibility for the delivery of discrete aspects of M&A transactions. This will include assuming responsibility for specific aspects of the transaction cycle and deal execution, reporting directly to senior team members and involve extensive client interaction and exposure to senior management, including at the CEO and CFO level.  * Drafting transaction documentation including marketing materials, presentation materials and talk books for client proposals  * Proactively assisting business development efforts including drafting pitch materials, providing market insights and performing comparable companies/transactions analyses  * Undertaking complex financial analysis and modelling. Able to capture and accurately model a number of types of operational models and sector needs  * Interaction with due diligence provides across the process including co-ordinating all stakeholders and other advisors including, for example, legal and tax The Person Attributes, Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge/Experience: * Strong academic background including a professional qualification in a numerate discipline (ACA/CFA or equivalent) * Proven and significant experience of working within the Healthcare sector and for Healthcare clients * Must have relevant corporate finance experience (including: FDD / CDD vendor led and PE auctions) gained from: an investment bank, Big 4, Private Equity Team or M&A Boutique * Significant transactional experience with a demonstrable track record of deal execution across all phases of the transaction cycle from origination to completion including: 1. Preparing high quality pitch materials and proposals including sector mapping, market analysis and target client positioning,  2. Drafting transaction documentation, including: valuation analysis, potential buyer research, information memoranda and management presentations  3. Financial modelling including LBO & DCF analysis  4. Managing the due diligence process including co-ordinating all stakeholders and other advisors including, for example, legal and tax * Ability to identify critical & relevant data sources  * Commitment to high quality standards & a detail oriented approach  * Personal drive and integrity to deliver results within tight deadlines  * Personable team player with the ability to create confidence and trust with colleagues and clients alike  Opening Date: 24/01/17 Closing Date: 22/02/17 Location: London Salary: £50,000-£55,000 plus negotiable bonus and benefits
