    • An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Bid Writer to join Kingdom Services Group, based at our Head Office in Newton-Le-Willows. Primary Objective: Retain and win new business through great bid writing that truly reflects Kingdom as we stand today. Candidate: Will be our bid writing and subject matter expert across all service disciplines. Position - Skill Base Requirements: Mandatory & Evidence Based: - Worked in the same business sector as Kingdom - Proven bid writing experience 3 years minimum+ across a multitude of business sectors - Exceptional writing and English grammar skills with passion that transpires into written word and compelling bids - Editing, attention to detail and presentational and marketing skills - Strong IT skills - Organised, logical approach and great time management with the ability to work under pressure but work calmly and efficiently and co-ordinate workload to adapt to tight time frames - Communicate effectively and professionally at all levels - being polite, helpful and diligent, with a 'can do' attitude - Achieved results / impressive win rate Secondary: - Team Player: Be a team player as well as working independently Desirable: Other appropriate qualifications Key Responsibilities: Examples of keys responsibilities may include (list not exhaustive): Retain, Win & Cross Sell - How to achieve success: - Understand our business, our customer and our processes to become our bid writing expert. - Write and submit a quality bid containing: -  Succinct but comprehensive and relevant responses  Our service achievements (re tenders only)  Innovation and added value report  Innovative commercials  A comprehensive summary  Creativity and presentation - Liaise with bid stakeholders - Compliance with our bid process - Support the sales team target through bid conversion - Bid database housekeeping including success/failure rates and appropriate management information and analytics to improve future bid submissions. - Tender library development and maintenance and working across the business to translate complex business solutions into easy to understand win themes - Introduce innovative software and smarter ways of working Brand Protection - How to achieve success: - Knowledge, regulation, implementation and compliance of Kingdom management systems for: o Quality - Health and Safety inc COSHH - Environmental - Employment law o Other appropriate manuals, policies, processes and procedures and business strategy General Responsibilities - How to achieve success: - Good administration - Communication policy compliance - Regular performance progress reporting (monthly) against Job Description
