DC2453. Business Development Director - Catering. London and South East. Salary - to £100,000 plus benefits. We are looking for a proven and innovative senior Sales person, with Catering and Food experience (catering, services or retail) to sell at decision maker level to large and SME clients. Main Duties and Responsibilities :. Responsible for developing and building a £multi million pipeline of opportunities in the corporate market within London and the South East. Responsible for converting the pipeline into opportunities through a tender or proposal process. Takes full ownership of the sales process from meeting to contract signoff, including proposal development and client negotiation. Liaise with subject matter experts and the support team, to ensure information is up to date and relevant. Utilises the CRM system for sales activity and ensures it is always up to date. Map out the potential prospects for the area and build relationships with the relevant buyers within those accounts. Prioritise "must win" accounts and have a strategy for how they will be converted. Review all tender invites for the area and agree whether they are a "real" opportunity that fits Into the company sales strategy. Personal Requirements and Qualifications. At least five years' experience in a large corporate sector sales role with a proven successful track record in Food, retail or catering environment. Experienced development person with networks and record within large financial and professional services clients. Successfully worked with a range of clients and able to build a pipeline and convert it into profitable growth. Effective strategic, analytical and decision making skills with innovative and creative ideas. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and ideally Salesforce or similar system.
