Accommodation Services are seeking to appoint a Customer Relations Assistant to contribute to the efficient organisation of accommodation administration. The individual will provide professional, proactive and efficient support with the bias of this role for the Maintenance Team within Accommodation Services. The successful candidate will carry out standard and non-standard administrative processes, including working with data and a range of financial procedures, make suggestions and implement process improvements where required and brief relevant staff in support of the change to the administrative process. The candidate will ensure delivery of a professional service, liaising with students and staff across the University as well as external organisations. The successful candidate will: • Have had a wide range of administrative experience in a professional office environment, preferably an accommodation or property related environment. • Experience of dealing with customers from a wide range of cultural backgrounds & working with confidential information. • Have good IT skills, with experience of email, MS Office Word Excel, and complex data base systems with experience of manipulating data to produce basic reports. • Excellent communication skills, written & verbal with experiences of presenting to an audience or team. • Experience of financial invoicing to recover student damage charges.
