    • The Role We are looking for a successful Head of Commercial Planning to join our Commercial Planning and Delivery team. The successful candidate will develop retailer plans that will create volume and revenue from shoppers. Typical Day · Highlighting new pack opportunities within existing capabilities with existing products · Looking at promotional fall out and agreeing actions to mitigate with approval of PPPA manager . · Evaluating and challenging Brand & Private label promotional delivery and plan achieved in order to course correct · Trade investment management ensuring all investments are loaded into the system correct and ROI achieved · Promotional plan customisation and price measurement - in order to achieve Burton's required margins or to mitigate cash margin miss through greater investment in price · Lead the short term cross functional monthly planning meeting (IMEX 6). · tracking of ROS, understanding distribution loss risks and mitigating through additional activity · Leading the annual planning process. About You The successful candidate will: · Be educated to degree level or with equivalent experience · Have a minimum 3 years Sales Strategy/Marketing/Sales/Category or similar experience · Have FMCG or similar experience. · Have advanced skills in Microsoft - specifically Excel, PowerPoint. · Strong decision making ability in situations where there is ambiguity. · Have strong quantitative and analytical skills. · Have enthusiasm and drive to persuade and inspire and ability to build internal and external relationships · Have the ability to work proactively on own initiative, get things done and be part of a broader team. · Have the ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and simple manner Why Burton's Biscuit Company Ask anyone here at Burton's Biscuit Company what we're most passionate about and you'll get the same answer from everyone - the baking of quality biscuits for the whole family to enjoy.
