Gleeds has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to be join our team in our Bristol office. This is a challenging post, reporting to the Director where you will managing a range of projects across the following sectors:. Healthcare; Education; Retail; Commercial. Overall management of projects from inception to completion - feasibility, planning, design, construction and post construction phases. Project values are generally £10m plus. - Planning, programming and monitoring progress of the projects. - Preparation and presentation of technical and progress reports. - Managing / liaising with stakeholders / consultants and contractors. - Appraisal of contractors' work. - Communication and meetings with clients and key stakeholders. Applicants should be degree qualified (in a construction discipline) - e.g BSc (Hons) / BEng; and be chartered, or working towards chartership, such as MRICS, MCIOB or MAPM. Candidates should have 5years plus proven Project Management experience including experience in client-facing roles. You will have in depth knowledge of the construction delivery process from initial feasibility stages through planning, procurement, and delivery, leading to close-out and Client satisfaction. In addition should be au fait with Contract Administration, Risk Management, and Stakeholder Management. You will have a proven track record of working within a consultancy business, and/or a developer or other client environment, and will have been actively involved in the management of £multi-million construction projects.
