We are looking to appoint an experienced Purchase ledger Manager to join our busy Shared Service Centre team in Harrogate. Reporting to the Shared Service Centre Controller, you will be responsible for maximising the efficiency and optimising the performance of the Purchase Ledger team to ensure invoices are paid efficiently and accurately on time. To succeed in this position you will manage people effectively and work to improve the productivity of the team by reviewing and developing processes. As a dynamic and forward thinking manager you will build and manage positive relationships with our suppliers whilst promoting adherence to our purchasing policy. The ability to be flexible and manage change according to business needs and requirements will be essential. Knowledge/experience required: A minimum of 2 years in a Purchase Ledger management role. Experience of dealing with International Suppliers and payments. A medium level of competence in Microsoft Excel. Experience in managing a team.
