Job Description As the Receptionist at The Princess Grace Hospital you'll act as the first point of contact and 'face' of the Hospital, the Receptionist provides support and customer service to patients, colleagues and clients, ensuring their first contact with us sets the tone of first class service and support. The role will involve meeting, greeting and providing information in a friendly, professional and hospitable manner and ensuring the smooth running of the facility by providing any clerical support required. Salary: £18,310 - £22,421 (Dependent on candidate experience) Hours: 40 hours/week (Shifts will consist of 6:30 - 14:30, 12:30- 20:30, 7:00 - 15:00, 8:00 - 20:30, 10:00 - 18:00). There may also be a requirement to cover night shifts when needed. Duties & Responsibilities Welcome all patients, visitors, consultants and staff Ensure the visitor book and register are accurate and up to date Provide information and respond to queries in a polite, professional and friendly manner face to face, over the phone and via email Ensure patients and colleagues have the relevant paperwork Ensure that the Reception access and waiting areas are kept tidy and free from trip hazards Monitor stationary stock and re-order as necessary Maintain a good knowledge of the facility and the services provided Skills and Experience Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills Previous experience within a similar, customer/client centric Reception role Good working knowledge of the MS Office suite (specifically MS Word and Excel) Experience within the healthcare industry or a large corporate business would be advantageous Knowledge of basic medical terminology would be advantageous About the Individual The successful candidate will be a confident communicator; comfortable dealing with people of all levels and tactful, empathetic and professional in their tone and manner.
