If you don’t want to spend your days stuck in an office, we have just the job for you! What do you enjoy? Are you super-sporty, or do you prefer a girlie afternoon’s shopping? You’ll be supporting women who have learning disabilities, autism and complex behaviours. They’re looking for staff who will enable them to live the lives they want. You’ll share some of their interests, which range from walking and swimming to music and movies. You’ll help them learn day-to-day life skills and become more independent. This opportunity would be a good fit if you have an interest in psychology or want to specialise in the field of autism. We can accommodate both full-time and part-time staff. This job can be a challenge, but if you’re the right sort of person, the sense of achievement you’ll get is second to none, and you’ll never be bored! You don’t need experience, as we provide loads of training and back-up, including specialist coaching. Who are we? MacIntyre is a national charity supporting people who have learning disabilities. Some things you need to know You’ll take your turn working shifts which include days, evenings, nights and weekends You MUST be a driver as you will need to drive service vehicles You’ll need to support the women with personal care Pay and Rewards You’ll receive a great induction and ongoing training, including the opportunity to gain nationally accredited vocational qualifications, free of charge.
